Today I bring you a recipe that I have known since childhood - Home sticks. They baked in the country, once a week, when the bread was baked. We, the children, were waiting for them with great pleasure and, as soon as we received a hot stick, we sprinkled it with sugar or greased it with magic. It is our delight!
Of course, times have changed and today we serve the recipe for homemade glues with cream cheese, sophisticated pies, tuna or smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella or various cheeses. Now, whether you want to serve them simple, with classic or modern toppings, homemade glues are a wonderful alternative to classic bread or bagel. You can prepare them yourself, they don't need leavening time and you can easily turn them even into a pizza counter! Grease them with a little tomato sauce, put a few slices of mozzarella and your favorite salami, slices of capers or peppers and put everything in the oven heated to 200 ° C for 10 minutes. We put all the ingredients for the countertop in the food processor. We mix, using the plastic dough knife, until we have a homogeneous dough, which is gathered in a ball. Move the dough on the table powdered with flour, knead to give it a round shape. Place the dough in a clean bowl, greased with a little olive oil. Cover with a towel and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
Cut the dough into 6 equal parts. On the table greased with a little olive oil, we roll with the help of a twister the 10x20cm and 2-3mm thick glue. Bake the sticks in the grill pan, over a moderate to low heat, until they are nicely browned on both sides and triple their initial thickness. You can also use a normal frying pan, but the grill cigarette gives those glues those beautiful traces and makes them more attractive.
Once baked, the sticks are ready to be served, as such, simple, but also instead of bread or with various toppings. Cream cheese and salmon sandwich
A sandwich seems to be the saving solution when you are hungry and do not have the time or desire to cook.
- Slices of wholemeal rye or baguette bread, toasted
- 250 g cream cheese at room temperature
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- 450g smoked salmon, thin slices
- 2/3 cup red onion, cut into cubes
- 1/3 cup caper
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
Method of preparation
In a small bowl, mix the onions, capers, lemon juice, dill and mustard seeds. Season with salt to taste. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese and chives, season with salt to taste. The cheese mixture is spread over slices of toast. Top with a slice of salmon and a generous spoonful of the onion and caper mixture.
In the first phase we prepare the pancakes. Mix the flour together with the eggs, milk and a little salt until you get a not very thick dough. Fry the pancakes in a pan and leave them to cool when covered, so that they do not dry out.
Sweet cheese is mixed with chopped arapgil and 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream, and seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
Break a piece of aluminum foil as big as a pancake. Put the pancake on the foil and grease it with cream cheese on half of the surface. Place a slice of smoked salmon on top of the cheese.
Roll the pancake and wrap it in aluminum foil, then leave it in the fridge for an hour.
After they have cooled and placed, the pancakes are taken out of the fridge and cut into slices about 1 cm thick, in which a toothpick is placed, also used to serve from the slices.

Rolls with smoked salmon and cream cheese
Simple and quick appetizers, which are ready in a few minutes and for which you do not need many ingredients, are ideal when you have to prepare a meal for guests or for the holidays. This recipe for salmon rolls with p & acircine and cream cheese also falls into this category.
You need to fix three ingredients plus spices (which you can omit), to get some delicious and effective appetizers, which & icirci will conquer those who will taste them.

To start, cut the crust into slices of bread and place them 4, one next to the other, in a square shape. Cover with plastic wrap and spread with a rolling pin so that the slices of bread thin out and the edges stick together.
Grease the bread with cream cheese and sprinkle your favorite spices on top: chilli, oregano, basil, pepper, etc. Then place the smoked salmon slices next to each other. Roll everything as tight as possible with the help of plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for at least an hour. After it has cooled and coagulated, you can cut the roll into suitable slices.
Serve the salmon rolls as an appetizer or in any other combination you like.

Extra fine fish paste and tasty simple recipe. An appetizer paste of tuna, sardines, mackerel, salmon or other canned fish (or boiled at home), with frothy butter and lemon juice. There is nothing simpler! An old recipe from our grandparents' time.
Through festive appetizers prepared for my daughter's birthday was this one too fish paste with butter and lemon. Marlene is a big fan of fish and enjoys it every time I cook it. He likes it a lot salmon (raw or smoked), trout, bream but also carp (especially bread or platelet).

There are many fish pasta recipes, but the one with butter I like the most. There are also versions with mayonnaise, butter mix with mayonnaise or cream cheese. In some, add finely chopped onions. I went for the classic recipe, as did my great-grandmother Buia from Sibiu.
Butter recommended for this fish paste is a weaker one, with 65% fat (not 82%)! Why? Because the paste doesn't come out too greasy and doesn't harden so much in the fridge.
The fish used was in its own juice (not in oil!) because butter has enough fat. Of course, it doesn't make sense to buy very expensive cans with large pieces of fish because you will crush it with the blender anyway.
From the quantities below you get a bowl of fish paste enough for 8-10 people. What remains can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Pancakes with salmon and cream cheese
It seems like a somewhat unusual recipe. But it's an easy entree to prepare, if your guests come to the table:
For 4 servings:
& # 8226 8 pancakes, as each one does
& # 8226 4 slices of smoked salmon
& # 8226 a jar (150 g) of horseradish with cream
& # 8226 2-3 tablespoons fat cream cheese (40%)
& # 8226 salt, pepper, hot paprika, to taste
& # 8226 chives or dill for decoration
& # 8226 Mix the horseradish with the cheese and add salt, pepper and a little paprika to taste. I personally don't like it very quickly.
& # 8226 Arrange 2 pancakes on the plate and, next to it, a slice of salmon and a spoonful of horseradish cheese composition. Garnish with chives (Schnittlauch) or dill. Serve immediately with a glass of Prosecco or white wine, kept cold.
If you want, you can also fill the pancakes, greasing them with cream cheese, over which you put the salmon slice and then roll. They are just as good.
Put the fish in boiling water and leave it for about 5 minutes.
In the meantime, chop what needs to be fried and turn to hardening.
First we put the onion, we harden it until it becomes transparent, then we put the potatoes and the chopped hot pepper, we stir them a little through the oil, then we add some water in the composition and let it boil over low heat.
At the end, add the parsley (just to steam). When the water drops, we must be careful, because the composition starts to sizzle immediately and if we are not careful, it burns quickly. Finally, the white sauce must be well bound.
Take the fish, put it in a bowl, put the composition in the pan, the core of a slice of bread, the crushed garlic.
I put the blender into operation, after a mixing which, everything becomes a creamy puree.

5 snacks for 5 minutes. Does that sound good? I noticed that every time we have guests, we panic and do not know what to prepare as snacks to impress everyone. We are tired of Boeuf salad and the eternal plates with sausages and vegetables. At least I'm one. I try to avoid them as much as possible and to find other options that I can prepare and that will be to everyone's liking. I usually make something with meat, something with fish and something vegetarian. That way I know for sure that there is something for everyone. In addition to appetizers, I also put on the table various salads, especially vegetables, but also with rice, chicken or tuna.
Since childhood I liked to make snacks for different events. I always helped my father cook and I liked to arrange everything as nicely as possible on the plates. I was cooking and listening to my father fascinated as he told me funny stories from his childhood. It was one of my favorite activities and I never missed an opportunity to help my father. At that time we also made the classic snacks, the ones that everyone prepares. Now I prepare completely different dishes, but I seem to long for those moments from my childhood. Unfortunately, neither my father nor I have time for this and we cook together less and less often.
Because I'm always busy, I opted for 5 5-minute snacks. I know you don't have time for complicated things either, so these recipes are ideal for anyone. I wanted these snacks not to be heavy so I chose to use Creme Bonjour cream creams. They are available in 3 variants, classic, with greenery and cucumber. They are very tasty and successfully replace butter. In addition, we can use it in countless snacks, both with meat or fish, and with vegetables. I like that it is creamy, spreads very easily on bread and is very tasty. Ideal for 5 5-minute snacks.
I chose simple and delicious snack recipes. I made a chicken wrap and many vegetables that are always to the liking of children. I made two more snacks with fish, cucumber rolls with smoked trout and snacks with smoked salmon. The last 2 consisted of croutons with grilled vegetables and stuffed eggs. All are ready immediately and are very tasty. You must try all or at least the ones that seem right for you. Eggs filled with cream cheese are wonderful and from now on that's the only way I will prepare them. There is no need for mayonnaise at all, and the taste is wonderful.
