There banoffee pie is an English dessert made with banana, toffee and cream placed on a layer of crumbled biscuits and butter. The name banoffee is formed by the union of words "banana" + "toffee" and it is a riot of goodness. Honestly I am not a fan of banana desserts, but I love toffee and that's why I put banoffi pie on the list of international desserts to try and I must say that I loved it. This dessert has the advantage of being prepared all cold so no oven or stove, as long as the caramel is already ready; P

How to make Banoffee pie
First of all, to obtain the toffee you will have to boil a can of condensed milk in a pot with water for 2 and a half hours.
Check from time to time that there is always water to cover the can.
Then remove the can from the water and let it cool, open the can and you will get the cream toffee
Chop the biscuits, put them in a bowl and add the melted butter.
Mix everything well then pour the biscuits into a tart mold. Cover the base and edges of the mold leveling as much as possible.
Let it rest in the fridge for half an hour.
Peel and cut the bananas into slices. Whip the cold cream from the fridge.
Go now to assemble the cake.
Spread the biscuit base with a generous layer of toffee cream, leveling it well with a spatula.
Then arrange the banana slices. Then cover everything with the whipped cream
Garnish the banoffee pie with slices of bananas, toffee and chocolate flakes. Put the cake in the fridge and let the cake rest for at least 2 hours before serving.
