Snowmen

  • 8 eggs
  • For the filling:
  • 100 gr grated Telemea cheese
  • 25 gr butter
  • 2 green onion threads
  • dill
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 4-5 olives to decorate
  • 1/4 red bell pepper

RECIPE PREPARATION Snowmen:

Boil hard-boiled eggs. Cut at the base and remove the yolk. Mix the filling from the above ingredients, then put it in place of the yolk.

Cut eggs in the sharp part to make the snowman's head. Put the olive eyes, the red donut nose and the olive hat.

Maturica is made from green dill or parsley.

Mushrooms can be made from the same filling, only that instead of the little man's head we put halves of tomato, cleaned inside.


Snowman in handprints

Today's gloomy day reminded me of the cold weather, of winter, of our activities during that cold period of the year. In December 2012 we started our activities with fingerprints. The snowman in the prints was one of the most interesting activities of that time. With this little snowman, as well as with other decorations, we brightened our house during the winter holidays. Although Vicai's contribution was reduced to this project, her joy in participating and doing something beautiful was immense.

To make this snowman I used a recycled cardboard (packaging from a DeAgostini magazine) on which I drew three overlapping circles in descending order of size (large, medium and small & this was a very good opportunity to talk to Vica about sizes). Then I cut out the whole shape obtained. That's how we made the base for our little snowman. On white paper I drew many gloves of Vicai, which I cut later. I made the first five prints with Vica, and I made the rest during the night using a template (created during the day) with her glove. During our walk outside we made a real snowman together & # 8211 that's how Vica learned that snow can stick and we can make many figures / shapes out of it. All month I talked to Vica about winter, snowman, flakes, snow. This is how I slowly introduced new words, specific to that period of the year, into Vicai's vocabulary.

In the following days, using stick-shaped glue (easy to handle, especially for Vica), we glued all the prints together on our previously prepared cardboard base. Vica enjoyed the gluing process, she liked to glue over the cut gloves.

From black colored paper I cut the buttons and eyes, from red paper the mouth, from blue & # 8211 & # 8222caciula & # 8221 and from orange the cone-shaped nose.

In the end I got a fluffy and cheerful snowman.

This activity is predestined more for older children, as it focuses on cutting details thus contributing to the development of fine motor. It was a novelty for Vica to hold the glue in her hand and find out that something can be glued. Moreover, to see how your child is full of joy that he has achieved something is a moment of maximum happiness!

Among the winter activities were the following: greeting card for loved ones, Christmas tree, snowflakes, garlands, Christmas tree decorations, window painting.


Dissolve the sugar in the milk, then add the eggs, salt, oil, ammonia and mix. Put flour and knead a suitable dough hard enough to spread 3-4 sheets (depending on the size of the large tray). Bake the sheets on the back of the tray, sprinkled with flour.

Mix flour with 10 tablespoons of cold milk and add sugar. The rest of the milk is boiled together with the lemon peel. When the milk boils, add the whole composition of cold milk with flour, stirring constantly until it starts to boil again. Bring to the boil until the composition comes off the pan slightly, then leave to cool, stirring occasionally.

When it cools, put the butter (at room temperature) little by little, stirring vigorously. Finally, add lemon juice, vanilla or rum essence, as desired.

The cake is assembled as follows: put a sheet in the tray and distribute the cream evenly, until all the sheets and cream are finished. It is then left to cool in the refrigerator until the next day when we can cut it into diamonds and powder with powdered sugar.

In winter, merry and rolling snowballs, then there are Snowmen. Happy, they played and danced together.

One day I hear that the Sun will soon come and they will melt. Frightened by this news, they set out for the Sun, to ask him not to come to these lands. On their way they meet a Teddy Bear, a Squirrel and a Bunny, who were shivering from the cold and waiting for the Sun to come as soon as possible. The little snowmen give them the hat and the scarf, & bdquorup their noses & rdquo (some carrots), saving the ear from hunger. Eventually they decide to run to the Sun to ask him to arrive as soon as possible. All nature and so many creatures need His warmth and light!

With the rising of the Sun, however, the Snowmen melted, but. they brought happiness to others. In their place rose two snowdrops, white and glittering, as charming as the Snowmen.


Little snowman

1. Beat the yolks with 200 g of sugar and 5 tablespoons of water until all the sugar has melted. Add the beaten egg whites with a pinch of salt and gradually sift the flour with the baking powder. Stir gently, pour into a tray lined with baking paper and bake in a well-heated oven at the right heat for 10-12 minutes.

2. For the cream, pass the fresh cheese and mix with the cream, 50 g sugar, a packet of vanilla sugar and the liqueur. Then whip the whipped cream with the whipping cream hardener and a packet of vanilla sugar.

3. Cut 8 large round shapes and 8 smaller round shapes from the baked and cooled top. The large ones are covered with cream, so as to obtain a hemisphere, which sits on a plate and forms the basis of the snowman. Then place the smaller countertops covered with cream and formed as a sphere, and on top a small sphere formed only of cream. Cover everything with coconut and garnish with a wafer cut in the shape of a hat, glazed with chocolate, chocolate buttons and candied orange bow tie.


Christmas table: 20 super creative ideas to decorate the plates and food of the little ones

Here is a clever and creative idea that will arouse the enthusiasm of the little ones. Snowmen, with carrot hats and parsley twigs as arms, stopped right at their plate.

Beat the yolks with the sugar, water and oil mix with the beaten egg whites and flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa. Place in the oven in two round dishes.


After the countertops cool, cut them (one is left in the shape it is and the other is removed from the other until we give it a round shape - for the snowman's head).


In the same bowl in which I baked one of the countertops, put a damp food foil, put the top of the lump, syrup it, place the cream, put the next slice and repeat the operation (I cut the big lumps into 3). After we have finished the last slice of syrup, we cover it with the edges of the foil and put it in the fridge overnight.


For the snowman's head we do the same operation but we use a cup as a support.


The next day we take out the tops and turn them over in 2 separate plates.


Make the icing: melt the white chocolate in liquid cream and pour over the 2 countertops. Level with the knife. Put it in the fridge for 5 minutes, then coat them and put the coconut, which we press a little on the icing to catch as much as possible. We put it in the fridge again.


In a muffin paper we pour melted dark chocolate in whipped cream - for the hat and from what remains we make buttons, eyes and broom (we pour the broom tail over half toothpicks, half to stay out so we can fit it in the snowman better ).


I made my nose and mouth out of juice.
We keep them all disassembled until close to serving time. I assembled them 5 minutes before serving.
